Vicki Jackson Acc. Spec. (Fam)
Vicki joined the firm in 1974 articled to the founder of the firm, Robert South. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1979 and became a Partner of the firm the same year.
Having a rural background, Vicki understands the needs and problems faced by her large rural clientele in property transactions, rural based litigation and succession planning. In addition, Vicki is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and a Mediator approved by the Queensland Law Society.
Vicki has contributed to the legal profession by fulfilling a term as President of the Central QLD Law Association, a Committee member of the inaugural Specialist Committee and the Ethics Committee of the Queensland Law Society. She has been appointed as a Senior Counsellor to other member of the profession.
Schooling for Vicki commenced by correspondence when she lived on her parents cattle property in the Bauhinia Downs district, before attending the Range College in Rockhampton.
Outside the law, Vicki's interests centre around her family and her life long interest in horses.
