Larissa Zeil-Rolfe

Larissa grew up on a cattle property near Springsure, and later moved to Rockhampton where she completed most of her schooling at the Rockhampton Grammar School and graduated in 2014.

Larissa took a gap year after completing high school and travelled to Germany where she lived for 10 months.

On her return, Larissa attended the University of Queensland in Brisbane and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) with Honours Class I and a Bachelor of Economics. During university, Larissa was awarded the My Tax Saver Prize 2020 and Tax Institute Prizes in Law (Prize 1) 2020 for achieving the highest mark in the Introduction to Taxation Law subject. She was also awarded the Deans’ Commendation of Academic Excellence each year. Larissa worked as an Economics Tutor at the University of Queensland during her degrees.

Following university, Larissa completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law.

In 2019, Larissa completed a short period of work experience with the firm and began a fulltime position with South Geldard Lawyers, working as a part of Vicki Jackson’s team, in January 2021. Larissa was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a lawyer in April 2022.

Larissa works predominately in the following areas:

Outside of the law, Larissa is interested in nature, sport and art and enjoys living on her family’s cattle farm outside of Rockhampton with her husband and pet dog.
