Luke has recently joined the firm as a Lawyer.
Prior to the law, Luke held positions over a period of 10 years with Racing Queensland and the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission where, on his resignation, he held the position as Chief Steward of the Capricornia & Central West regions. Luke has an in-depth knowledge of the rules of racing and processes in disciplinary and licensing matters in all codes, be it thoroughbred, harness or greyhound racing.
Luke maintains a special interest in this industry and looks forward to assisting owners, jockeys and trainers in licensing applications, internal review and QCAT appeals as well as assisting race clubs in their dealings with governing bodies and industry representative associations.

Luke hails from Toowoomba where he completed his secondary education at St Mary’s Christian Brothers College.
He obtained his law degree from Central Queensland University, and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology while maintaining his full-time commitments to Racing Queensland and the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission. Luke was admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland in early 2018.
Luke has a young family and maintains a keen interest in horse racing and rugby league.
